DISCUSSION

1. District Directors meeting

Director Frazer reviewed the following:

1.      Are District Director votes binding to all districts?

2.      Avocations and the draw process

3.      Winter Tournament managers meet 1/4/07

4.      Spring tournament managers and District Track managers will meet 3/29/07

5.      Will try moving back the 3 week window to two weeks then maybe one week

6.      Grade checks during the quarter or trimester

7.      1/A/2/A/3A gymnastics

8.      There was poor communication between the Districts and the State regarding Volleyball district results.  We need to do a better job of getting all district information to the state office

9.      Travel during the week across the mountain for Soccer.

2.  11/27 meeting with Mike Colbrese/Todd Storedahl

The Committee will meet with Mike and Todd to discuss concerns that have arose with District IV’s adoption of a fee schedule for Basketball officials.

3.  District IV sportsmanship guidelines.

All leagues have not yet reviewed the guidelines, Tabled until November meeting

4. Amendments for 2007

            Transfer

1.      Terry Cavender presented a amendment that will be supported by District IV for consideration at the 2007 Representative Assembly

General Rules

1.      Al Burmester presented a proposed an amendment allowing high school coaches a meeting with feeder schools.

Also discussed were concerns about the 8-year time period before the redoing of

 the numbers.
