2. George Crawford discussed proposed amendment
for 2008
In
discussion with ESD Superintendents have a great concern with the unfair
playing field that
exists between the public and private schools.
He is pursuing discussion and information with regard to proposing an
amendment that limits membership in the WIAA to public schools only. He feels
all issues should be on the table to remedy this situation. Discuss this with
your leagues and provide him with some feedback
3. Budget Committee report
Following
recommendations were made
1. Use the interest from the Dryfess account to
increase scholarship monies.
2. Use interest and monies from CD’s for
operating funds.
3. To better educate our schools on supporting
the District through the purchase of passes.
