Location
The Evergreen
Parking fee - $1.25 per day. (Friday is the only day
that the fee will be collected).
Directions
I-5 to exit 104 (Hwy 101). Follow
Hwy 101 for approx. 3 miles and take The Evergreen State College exit. The exit merges onto
Meet Manager

Entries
All entries must be filled out on the enclosed master entry and faxed to Yelm
HS 360-458-6198 by
Team Entries:
Any number of entries per team for each
individual event are permitted if qualified by time.
Individual Entries:
“A competitor shall be permitted to enter a maximum of four events, no more
than two of which may be individual events.” (Rule 3, Section 2, Art. 1)
Relay Entries:
One Relay per team is entered.
Competition is at Finals. Up to
eight names may be listed on your Relay Entry Form. This is your official entry and no changes
will be permitted.
Dive Sheets:
Entries
should be submitted on 2004-05 WIAA Dive
Form for eleven dive competitions. Dive sheets will be turned in at Coaches
meeting on Saturday morning.
Timing
Automatic Timing will be used. “To
finish the race…..When automatic timing/judging equipment is used, the swimmer
must contact the touch pad to finish the race.”
(Rule 8, Section 1, Art. 7)
Scoring
A Finals Heat (8) and Consolation Heat (8) will compete at Finals. Scoring will follow National Federation Rule
7, Section 1, Article 3 for
16 places.

Individual:
1st thru 4th place,
plaques; 5th thru 6th place, medals; 7th
thru 16th ribbons
Relays: 1st thru 4th
place, plaques; 5th thru 6th place, medals; 7th
thru 16th ribbons
Pins Commemorative Pins
will be provided for each District Qualifier
Allocation Top FOUR
finishers advance to the state meet
ALL teams should use the
pool level entrance to the building. Teams
attempting to enter through the lower level will be redirected to the pool
level entrance. The only entrance
available for entry to the pool will be the pool level entrance.
Entrance Fee:
Each day of the meet spectators will be charged $6.00 for adults and $4.00 for students w/ASB, children, and
seniors. No two-day passes are
available. All Spectators will be given
wrist bands each day for re-entry into the meet. Fees collected are used to pay
for running of the meet. This includes
facility rental, official/management fees, awards and pins. The swimmers appreciate your support!
Concessions:
Operated by the Evergreen Swim Club
T-Shirts
T-Shirts will be on sale at the meet.
Short Sleeve S-XL $12; Long Sleeve S-XL $18 2X available on pre-orders only. Proceeds benefit the athlete’s awards.
PRE-ORDERS: Teams may reserve (pre-order and pay upon
pick-up) shirts for their team members.
These orders must be faxed to 360-458-6198 or received by email to Ron_Barnard@ycs.wednet.edu no later than Monday,
1. A designated supervisor shall be on deck during the entire warm-up
period. (teams with a single
coach should make arrangements with a team with more than one coach to
supervise their swimmers while the head coach attends the coaches meeting).
2. Swimmers shall enter the water feet-first except for starts, which
are limited to specified lanes.
3. Lanes 2 and 7 as one-way sprint lanes with racing starts permitted
at the starting end of the pool. Lanes 1
and 8 designated as push-pace lanes. Lanes
3, 4, 5, 6 designated as circle swim lanes.
4. Place a cone marker or similar sign on starting platforms in lanes
not specified as one-way sprint lanes.
5. Coaches should stand at the starting end of the pool and verbally
start swimmers for sprint or pace work.
6. Swimmers are not permitted on the starting platform when a backstroker is executing a start
in the same lane.
7. Swimmers shall not swim in the area where the diving warm-up is
occurring.

Each team is responsible for
cleaning their team areas of clothing, debris or other articles. Teams not properly clearing their team areas
will be tar and feathered!
